EnjoyBoat launch policy

Termos de utilização

These starter terms explain how EnjoyBoat works as a boat-rental marketplace. They should be reviewed by legal counsel before full commercial launch. Localized legal copy can be expanded after counsel review; the English starter text remains the controlling draft for launch preparation.

Launch note: This is starter operational/legal copy for the MVP. Review it with qualified counsel before relying on it for paid operations, regulated charter activity, or country-specific compliance.

1. Marketplace role

EnjoyBoat helps visitors discover boat listings and send inquiries or booking requests. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, EnjoyBoat is not the boat owner, captain, charter operator, insurer, travel agent, or payment processor for offline arrangements.

2. Accounts and accurate information

Users must provide accurate account, listing, contact and trip information. Owners are responsible for keeping prices, availability, descriptions, photos, safety details and contact details current.

3. Listings and owner responsibility

Owners are responsible for legal operation of their vessels, required licenses, captain qualifications, safety equipment, insurance, local permits, taxes, cancellation rules, weather decisions and compliance with maritime and consumer rules in their area.

4. Renter responsibility

Renters should review the listing, ask questions before confirming, respect the vessel and crew instructions, arrive on time, avoid unsafe activity, and disclose relevant trip requirements such as group size, route, timing, accessibility needs or special requests.

5. Inquiries and booking requests

A booking request or inquiry submitted through EnjoyBoat is not a final confirmed charter unless the owner confirms it and both sides agree on the details. During soft launch, Request Booking remains the safest public path.

6. Payments, deposits and refunds

When platform payments are enabled, bookings are confirmed only after verified provider completion or admin-confirmed bank transfer. Deposits, refunds, claims and chargebacks may require manual review and supporting evidence. Offline payment terms must be agreed directly with the owner until platform payments are activated.

7. Prohibited use

Users may not submit false listings, spam, illegal content, unsafe requests, abusive messages, intellectual-property violations, fraudulent documents, payment abuse, or attempts to bypass security. EnjoyBoat may remove content, restrict accounts, or block access when needed to protect users and the platform.

8. Content rights

By submitting listings, photos, reviews, messages, or other content, users confirm they have the right to share it and grant EnjoyBoat permission to display and promote it on the platform, in search results, and in marketplace communications.

9. Availability and changes

EnjoyBoat may change, pause, hide, or remove features at any time. Public beta features may be incomplete, manually managed, launch-gated, or adjusted based on operational and safety needs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, EnjoyBoat is not responsible for offline agreements, vessel operation, weather, sea conditions, owner conduct, renter conduct, accidents, losses, taxes, permits, or disputes between users.

11. Contact
