EnjoyBoat launch policy

Responsabilidades de los propietarios

Owners are the source of listing accuracy, operational safety, compliance and renter communication. This checklist supports a safer launch. Localized legal copy can be expanded after counsel review; the English starter text remains the controlling draft for launch preparation.

Launch note: This is starter operational/legal copy for the MVP. Review it with qualified counsel before relying on it for paid operations, regulated charter activity, or country-specific compliance.

1. Accurate listings

Owners must keep boat title, photos, location, capacity, length, pricing, included services, captain/fuel details, availability and contact information accurate.

2. Legal operation

Owners are responsible for vessel registration, local permits, tax/VAT requirements, marina permission, captain/skipper licenses, commercial activity rules and any other local requirements.

3. Insurance

Owners must maintain appropriate insurance for the trip type and passengers. They should upload proof when requested and update expired documents before accepting bookings.

4. Safety and equipment

Owners/captains must provide required safety equipment, passenger briefings, capacity controls, emergency procedures and safe operational decisions based on conditions.

5. Policies and communication

Owners should set clear cancellation, weather, deposit, route, fuel, captain and add-on policies before accepting payment. They should respond promptly and keep important agreements in platform messages.

6. Admin review

EnjoyBoat may pause or reject listings if documents are missing, expired, inconsistent, unsafe, suspicious or not suitable for public launch.
